Communication Science on the Run!

17 September 2017 students and staff members of Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam take on the challenge and will participate in the largest running event in the Netherlands: the Dam to Damloop. With a group of 65 runners we will concur the IJtunnel and push ourselves to the limit. After 16 kilometers we will see each other with our medals at the finish line. 

Since it's the fourth time that we are participating we have decided to do something special: we want to raise €1.000,- to help refugees study or do research at the University of Amsterdam. Therefore we are joining the Studie zonder Grenzen (Studying without Borders) intiative of the Amsterdam University Fund (AUF). The AUF is a recognized charity and they will make sure that the money will be spent accordingly.
